Leeds Castle Food Festival

We return to the magnificent grounds of Leeds for our 4th event this September. With its impressive moat and 500 acres of beautiful parkland and gardens, the 900-year-old castle is an idyllic backdrop to our festival full of flavour.

Visitors are treated to fresh regional produce from up to 70 food and drink producers. From gourmet local burgers to French crepes and Kentish ciders, there will be taste sensations for all ages. Food gifts on offer include charcuterie, artisan cheeses and breads, fresh fruit and vegetables, sauces, pickles, sweets and juices.

Reza Mahammad will again delight a packed demonstration theatre with delicious Indian dishes and signed copies of his new book. And there are more fascinating demos and talks from some prime guests.

Our roaming musicians, Silk Street Jazz Band, provide relaxingly tuneful sounds while children enjoy traditional rides, dedicated storyteller, face painting and a variety of garden games.

Leeds Castle was built 1200-1300 AD. Originally the site of a manor of the Royal Saxon Family and Norman stronghold, it later become a Royal palace, and was for 300 years the home of Kings and Queens of England.
